Modules for Foundry VTT, built for tables that want the
fiddly parts of a session handled properly rather than hand-waved.
Modules
Grimmtale Libraryinstalls itself
The shared foundation Camp Out and Dynamic Spectator both sit on: the
v12 and v13 compatibility layer, combat turn tracking that fires on
every client rather than just the GM's, and the window and settings
plumbing. Nothing to configure.
You do not install this one by hand. Foundry pulls it in as a
dependency the first time you install either of the others, and
updates it alongside them.
Camp Outv12 and v13
Camping stops being a line of narration. The party plans the night on
a shared grid - who takes which watch, who cooks, who mends kit, who
keeps an eye on the prisoner - and the night plays out shift by shift.
Assignment is drag and drop. Your own cells are the only ones you can
drop into, and everyone else's stay concealed until the shift is
played out or the GM reveals them, so nobody plans around what the
rest of the table has already committed to. Rations are tracked as
real supplies and eaten when the party commits to the night, not
settled up afterwards.
Dynamic Spectatorsystem agnosticv12 and v13
Watch the game through any token's eyes. A downed player, a player
who arrived late, or a whole table following the scout who went on
ahead - each of them gets that token's vision and lighting rather
than a GM's-eye view of the map.
The camera follows without fighting you: it owns position only, so
your own zoom survives. Escape releases the view, and if combat
starts the module can hand a spectator the active combatant
automatically and give the view back when the encounter ends.
Installing
Subscribe, and get your links
Each subscriber gets their own install link per module, sent
directly. The key is part of the link, so there is nothing to type
into Foundry beyond the URL itself.
Paste one into Foundry
In Foundry, open Add-on Modules, choose
Install Module, and paste your link into the
Manifest URL box at the bottom.
Foundry remembers the link and checks it like any other module, so
new releases show up in the update list with everything else.
Checking for updates is free and unlimited - it never counts against
your downloads.
Your links are yours. Each one allows a handful of downloads between
releases, which comfortably covers a live server, a test world and a
retry or two - but not a group. Passing a link round spends your own
allowance, so keep them to yourself.
How the allowance works.
